Videos

With four decades of healthcare experience, including over 30 years as a strategic planning and marketing consultant, Lynne Cunningham is uniquely qualified for her role as both coach and international speaker. She has worked with hospitals, health systems, medical groups, organ procurement organizations, associations and Federally Qualified Health Centers in North America, to define, measure and evaluate the perception of quality among patients, employees, physicians and the community. Lynne brings a broad base of experience and views to her clients. Lynne works with organizations to help them determine the best way to apply and integrate Studer Group processes as they create their own “fingerprint” for their cultural change journey. She is a frequent speaker on Studer Group basics and how to measure return on investment with application of Studer Group’s Evidence-Based LeadershipSM tools, as well as having tough conversations, generational diversity, and time, meeting and email managerment. In addition to working with leaders, Lynne works with boards of directors to help them understand their role in today’s changing healthcare environment and is on-hand to facilitate discussions when they are making decisions for the future. Her knowledge of the healthcare industry and her ability to work with executives, other leaders, boards and providers bring instant credibility to her assignments.

Professional Experience

Lynne is a skilled strategic planning facilitator and works with hospitals, medical groups and associations as they create or update their annual goals and long-term strategies. On-site facilitation with executives, leaders, board members and physicians will result in strategies that build team buy-in and will improve the execution of the plans that are developed. Lynne can also facilitate the development of a decision-making matrix to help organizations identify the best strategic partnerships and how to assess the viability of any specific alliances. Lynne is the author of several books and many journal articles on topics including taking conversations from difficult to doable, the impact of patient satisfaction on malpractice exposure, physician involvement in marketing and marketing best practices in a variety of service lines. Prior to joining Studer Group, she was a staff administrator at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California and at Sutter Health.
