Monika Dutton
With over 25 years of progressive management experience in healthcare with a focus in operational and special project management, Monika Dutton has been influential in achieving organizational growth and change for a variety of healthcare organizations. She excels at bringing concepts to reality through closure of gaps and alignment of goals. Her combined passion for excellent patient care and evidence-based practices motivates her to work with others to achieve exceptional results.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron | Studer Group, Monika worked in several nursing leadership roles. She was director of nursing at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Florida. In this position, at a Level II trauma center, she had operational responsibility for medical/surgical and critical care units across two campuses. Monika also worked at Roper St. Francis in Charleston, South Carolina. Her last position there was as magnet project director. Throughout her career, Monika has assumed responsibility for many strategic system initiatives and counts herself as a strategic change agent.

- Coached partners who achieved year-over-year improvement across their CAHPS composites and quality indicators
- Increased inpatient nursing satisfaction scores annually while decreasing turnover through implementation of leader rounding, peer interviews and 30/90-day interviews
