With over 40 years of healthcare experience, Vikki is a recognized leader in healthcare quality improvement. Vikki’s experience includes quality and safety; high reliability; care, case, disease and utilization management; regulatory compliance; risk avoidance and management; patient experience; leader accountability and development; nurse leader development; and Evidence-Based Leadership℠. Vikki is a member of Huron | Studer Group’s international speaking team. She designed the Frontline Nurse Leader Boot Camp national conference, a highly experiential learning event created to establish effective leader validation and coaching skills. Vikki also leads the HRO Executive Track conference. As delivery leader of Huron | Studer Group’s quality, safety and high reliability organization (HRO) offerings, Vikki has deep and broad knowledge of quality and safety and, as a result of personal experience, has a palpable passion for zero harm.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron | Studer Group, Vikki served as the chief quality officer and vice president of performance improvement for the Cheyenne Regional Health System. In this position, she was responsible for safety, quality, infection prevention and control, risk management, process improvement, regulatory compliance, data analytics, and case/care management. Prior to this, Vikki led clinical training for the Milliman Care Guidelines and served as leader of population health and case management for Martin’s Point Health Care, serving military Tricare Prime beneficiaries.
