St. David's North Austin Medical Center, a 332-bed tertiary medical center, offers state-of-the art technologies and innovative care performed by over 1100 highly trained physicians and approximately 1200 skilled staff, all in a comfortable and accessible location. St. David's North Austin Medical Center is a member of St. David's HealthCare.

A comprehensive Heart and Vascular Center, a full-service Emergency Room, a Kidney Transplant program, a comprehensive women's diagnostic imaging center, and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs are just some of the services provided. Technological enhancements include two daVinci robotic surgical systems, new Cath Labs, MRI upgrade, a 64-slice CT scanner and digital mammography.

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is proud to be an Accredited Chest Pain and Stroke Center as well as Commission on Cancer approved cancer program. In addition, the hospital earned national recognition for repeatedly being in the top 10% for stroke care and orthopedic surgery as well as women's services for the past four years.

For minor injuries and illnesses, St. David's North Austin Medical Center operates an Urgent Care Clinic in Pflugerville (just North of Austin) to treat patients after hours and on the weekends. This unit is staffed by Board Certified physicians with experience in Emergency Medicine.

A recent $82 million investment was made in women's services. The St. David's Women's Center of Texas, located on the campus of St. David's North Austin Medical Center, is a new facility dedicated entirely to the health and wellbeing of women of all ages. This addition more than doubles capacity with enhanced surgical and imaging centers, 29 LDR rooms, 61 postpartum rooms, six operating rooms for cesarean sections and 36 Level III NICU beds. This three-story, 121,000 square-foot facility is the largest women's center in Central Texas with capacity for future expansion.
