Choptank Community Health (CCHS) was incorporated in 1978, as a private, non-profit community health center located on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland. In 1980, CCHS was awarded a Service Area Competition grant from HRSA, designating it as a Federally Qualified Health Center. Since that first health center was opened in 1978, CCHS has grown to include five family practice locations, a dedicated pediatric practice and four on-site dental practices, a robust school based health and dental program and a migrant program serving about 300 agricultural and seasonal workers on the Eastern Shore.

It is the largest medical center in California’s San Fernando Valley.

Cass County Health System began a systematic customer service improvement effort in January 2000, utilizing in-house staff leaders to develop a program and educate all staff. After a number of years of moderate improvement, the decision was made to begin working with the Studer Group in 2011. The Administrative Team and Board of Trustees felt that utilizing the Studer Group’s approach would provide the additional boost to move the organization forward; specifically the evidence-based tools and team accountability to an organizational coach. The first hospital for Pocahontas County, West Virginia was completed in 1906. The Marlinton Hospital and Infirmary was the 16th hospital licensed in the state of West Virginia. In 1926, a group of citizens petitioned the county court to designate the hospital as a Memorial Hospital to honor the county men and women who had served in World War I. Littleton Regional Healthcare's commitment to excellent patient care led to a partnership with Studer Group in 2013. Leaders began purposeful rounding with employees to enhance relationships and communication. LRH leadership has worked closely with physicians and providers to ensure quality care is provided in the clinic and hospital settings. As employees’ and providers’ engagement increased so has the patients’ experience of care. Results of the inpatient satisfaction surveys saw the overall rating of 9-10 improve from the 55th percentile to the 81st. Following a specialized assessment, focused efforts in the Emergency Department raised ED patient satisfaction from the 25th to the 72nd percentile while significantly increasing the volume of patients receiving care in the emergency department.
