The Sparrow ED has worked to improve its processes both in the clinical area as well as the patient satisfaction arena. In September of 2010, the ED began a journey to improve patient quality and perception of care by improving the delivery of care.

Located in the heart of historic Coral Gables, the 281-bed facility has a tradition of excellence, with an outstanding reputation for its services in orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, emergency and general medical care.

Located on a beautiful campus near downtown Oklahoma City, OU Medicine has been in a constant state of change in recent years. The look of its facilities has improved dramatically with new additions and renovations, and its organizational culture has undergone its own overhaul. Old mindsets about customer service and OU Medicine's place in the health care market have been discarded and replaced with a new outlook squarely focused on improving the patient experience and the overall enterprise.

Through the years, Lafayette General has undergone many significant changes, none as apparent as the total renovation currently underway to modernize our facility. This change to our physical environment pales in compassion to the changes brought about by our Journey to Excellence (J2E), initiated in January 2009. Employees of Lafayette General have experienced a renewed spirit and commitment to promoting a quality of care found nowhere else in our community. We move forward knowing that this commitment to purpose and worthwhile work, in order to make a difference, will continue to set us apart.

Upson is a 115-bed hospital in middle Georgia. As one of its region's largest employers, Upson employs more than 600 and has an annual payroll of more than $27 million. It is the hospital of choice for more than 5,000 patients annually, and it is a major economic engine for the region. Its emergency department alone cares for more than 32,000 patients each year and is the origin of more than 93% of all admissions.

For the past two and half years, Black River Memorial Hospital has worked with the Studer Group to "Hardwire" service and operational excellence. Our heavy focus on People, Service, and Quality has helped engage our staff, physicians, and Partners in our "Excellence Always" journey.

For more than a decade, Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore has subscribed to the Studer Group's principles for achieving and maintaining operational and service excellence. Our vigilant focus on Quality, Service and Safety has helped us engage our family of Good Samaritans in our ongoing—and worthwhile!—efforts to create "ideal experiences" across the board. This includes creating a great place for associates to work, physicians to practice and patients to receive care.

At some time between the phone call from a hospital in Australia and being named a finalists in the Kansas Governor’s Award of Excellence (along with Frito Lay), this rural hospital staff realized their efforts were gaining a lot of attention. In Studer terms, quite simply, the flywheel was turning at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, Kansas.

New Hanover Regional Medical Center partnered with the Studer Group in December of 2004, and since then the system has not wavered in its vision to be the best provider of comprehensive health services rendered with value, dignity, and respect.

Established in 1912, Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS) is a not-for-profit academic health organization committed to medical excellence through research and education and is accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Hospital Organizations (JCAHO). It is one of the largest health systems in the Southeast and the Upstate's only academic medical center.

Established in 1824 as the first medical school in the South, MUSC is the only comprehensive academic health sciences center in South Carolina, offering educational programs in basic biomedical sciences, dentistry, health professions, medicine, nursing, and pharmacy. These programs are centered on the 50 plus acre campus in Charleston, but through collaborations with sister institutions, selected academic programs are available throughout South Carolina.

Nemours is one of the nation's largest pediatric health systems, integrating prevention and health information services, primary care, hospital-and clinic-based specialty care, research and medical education programs. Affiliated with respected community and academic partners, Nemours cares directly for 250,000 children annually.

WellStar Health System (WHS) is the largest not-for-profit health system in Georgia with more than 12,000 employees and serves nearly 1.2 million people in the northwest metropolitan Atlanta area. It is one of 42 health systems in the United States accredited as a healthcare system by The Joint Commission.

United Hospital District (UHD) has a legacy of being recognized as being an organization completely dedicated to ensuring the patients of our area have the highest quality medical services right at home. UHD is an independent rural health system with a 25-bed critical access hospital, three clinics, home health, hospice, an inpatient adolescent chemical dependency treatment center and ambulance service.

Henry County Hospital has a long history of delivering quality care and service to the residents of Henry County. The hospital began in 1919 staffed by one physician and one nurse, many expansions, and one relocation later the hospital continues to serve the residents of Henry County. Henry County Hospital is now a 25 bed critical access hospital which employs 244 staff members, 72 active volunteers, 374 auxiliary members with 12 active medical staff members, and 64 courtesy and consulting medical staff members.

Methodist Healthcare is the largest health care system in South Texas, providing quality health care to residents of San Antonio and cities in the 26 surrounding counties. The System is comprised of 24 facilities, eight of which are acute care hospitals: Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Hospital, Methodist Children’s Hospital*, Methodist Heart Hospital*, Methodist Hospital, Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital*, Methodist Stone Oak Hospital, Metropolitan Methodist Hospital* and Northeast Methodist Hospital*.
